Places to visit
There are a number of excellent routes from Chippenham, some off-road following designated cycle trails, others on quiet lanes and part of the scenic Wiltshire Cycleway.






Avebury
To Avebury along the route of the Chippenham to Calne railway which dates back to 1863. No traffic and no hills. From Calne, cycle along quiet lanes to the ancient, mystic stone circles of Avebury.
           


Bath
To the City of Bath, famous for its' sweeping Georgian terraces and Roman Baths

                 
Castle Combe
To Castle Combe voted the prettiest village in England and location for many films.
   






Lacock
To the medieval National Trust Village of Lacock on the recently opened trail which follows the route of the river Avon and passes the ruins of the Wiltshire and Berkshire Canal.









Stonehenge
To Stonehenge, a place of worship for the Ancient Britons and the best known prehistoric site in Britain
